I've been a programmer for quite some time. Currently I'm still proficient in PHP however I've been growing a distaste towards it. Lately my preference if possible for a project is to drop into Ruby+Rack or if absolutely possible use a little bit of ServerSide JavaScript. However since MonkeyScript isn't up to a practical enough phase for my use, I'm through with jslibs especially with my 64bit Ubuntu, and Narwhal isn't in a state I'm comfortable to use I've been limited to ruby for actual coding other than working on MonkeyScript itself.
I do have a level of understanding in various other languages as well, Python mostly I did some Java a long time ago and it's resurfaced with my work on MonkeyScript Lite, and I have experimented with Common Lisp. I did a light bit of MS C++ in school, enough to understand the real low level stuff such as RAM, pointers, and Linked Lists, but I cannot actually program in C/C++ myself.
